For nearly 30 years, Classy Diamonds has been built on superior quality and meticulous custom design. Every piece begins the same way — with Ned at the bench, a sharpened pencil, and a sheet of paper. He sketches each ring by hand, refines it with the client across two or three sittings, and then takes the final drawing all the way to a finished, hand-crafted piece.
It's that drawing-to-finished-ring process that's earned him a clientele stretching from Woodbridge to London, Quebec, and across Europe and Australia. He goes above and beyond on every detail — and his customers feel it.
What he loves most is what's kept the studio going for three decades: meeting new people, building lifelong relationships, and turning their dreams into something real.
Why Custom
The mass-market jewelry industry is built around moving inventory. Templates, certifications, glass cases full of settings designed to be acceptable to everyone and remarkable to no one. It's efficient. It's also forgettable.
Custom is the opposite of efficient. It takes time. It takes conversation. It takes a jeweler willing to sit with you for an hour and ask questions that have nothing to do with closing a sale. But the result is a piece that fits the person it was made for — physically, aesthetically, and meaningfully — in a way nothing off a shelf ever does.

Some are quiet — a slim band engraved with a single date. Some are bold — a recut family heirloom set into a brand-new design. All of them are one of one. The Woodbridge Diamond District
Most people don't expect a diamond district in Woodbridge — but the Woodbridge Jewelry Exchange has quietly been one of New Jersey's most established hubs for fine jewelers for decades. Our studio is inside the Exchange, on the third level of Woodbridge Center, surrounded by other independent jewelers who all do their own kind of specialized work.
The advantage of working inside a district like this is hard to overstate. Stones can be sourced quickly. Skilled hands are nearby for specialized tasks. Repairs, sizing, settings — there's a network of people who've been doing this work together for years. For our clients, it means a custom piece doesn't have to come with custom delays. Most of our timelines are shorter than what you'd find at a standalone showroom because the entire trade is around the corner.
It also means something more personal: this is a community. The other jewelers in the Exchange are people we know. The customers who walk in have often worked with someone else here, or will. Being a small part of a larger trade keeps us honest, keeps us sharp, and keeps the work consistent.
